Sunny Sundays

Good morning to all, ❤

It’s Monday morning here in Sydney, Australia – I am sitting at my work desk, ready to tackle the week.

Another weekend has past, I had a lovely weekend 🙂

I am really enjoying being outdoors, the sun gets to me so easily though 😦

The sunset was so lovely at work on Friday night (this is the view from my work), I than had dinner w/ Rach, which was nice.

IMG_6635I spent Saturday at the gym in the morning than with my mother for the rest of the day + night, we went out for coffee/brunch + also watched a movie together in the night.

It was lovely to spend time w/ my mother – I don’t do it often bc I am so busy during the week + so is she than on the weekends I am w/ J – so it was nice to spend some quality time w/ her.

In the night we watched a movie called Jack + Jill, its an oldie but a goodie – it has Adam Sandler in it! He makes me laugh SO hard!

IMG_6666Sunday morning, I got up cleaned my bedroom, opened the windows, let some sunlight in. I than vacuumed + washed my car (I love cleaning my own car + not paying people to clean it).

I than headed to Cronulla to meet up w/ Mel, the sun was AMAZING (Mel got a little sunburnt thats how hot it was). We went for a lovely walk together + got ice cream (ofcourse I had to get the Kinder Bueno flavour), we went for a nice long wak + sat by the cliff side + chatted for hours what seemed like minutes)

We than got some lunch together, we got fish, chips, calamari + chicken nuggets. My tummy never feels good after deep fried food, so my tummy was a bit unsettled 😦

IMG_6669I than dropped Mel back at her home + headed home to my place. Being in the sun is GREAT (don’t get me wrong) but bc I am very fair skin + didn’t wear sunscreen (oops), I feel like the heat got to me.

I went to the gym in the afternoon + smashed out arms + abs, I didn’t feel that I work to the best of my ability though bc I felt as though my body was tired.

I got home, had a shower, relaxed on the couch + read a book.

What did everyone do on their weekend – I pray you all had a lovely weekend.

Wherever you are in the world, have a lovely day ❤

Blog Share #3

I put up a post last night of the sunset that I witnessed at work & spoke about how calm sunsets make me feel.

I was astounded to than see a link from Kathleen from 161daysinparadise, my sunset post motivated her to put up some ammmmmazing sunset pictures from Barbados. (Thank you Kathleen for taking the time to write this post & share all these photos)

I think it’s crazy that we all see the same sun, there are no two suns! And, we all see & capture different sunrises & sunsets.

I am a very big lover of photos – I take photos of EVERYTHING! (I think I have a photo problem)

I would love to see other sunrises & sunsets across the world, be sure to tag me in your sunrise & sunset posts 🙂

The below photo is my most favourite from Kathleen’s blog post.

Barbados is 16,144kms away from Sydney, Australia – even though its so far, staring at this picture really makes me feel like I am there.

Another Day, Another View

Short & sweet post.

I’m loving that since Sydney, Australia has changed their clocks now, I now get to witness the sunset everyday at work. (The only bummer is that I now travel home in the dark!)

The sunsets I get to see every day really make me grateful & thankful I am alive.

I am so blessed to be witnessing such a beautiful sunset, what I love the most is that every single day there is a different sunset, not one sunset is the same.

Look at all those colours in the sky – there is such a range of different colours.

Sitting by the window staring into the distance really makes me calm & makes me feel at peace.

How amazing is the below picture ❤️

Daily View

To witness this view everyday is amazing, I absolutely love heights, I love being waaaay up high.

I work on level 50 in one of Sydney CBD’s biggest buildings.

To some this wouldn’t matter & would mean nothing… To me, it’s an amazing feeling to see this view every day.

We have floor to ceiling windows & have a 360 view of the city.

It truly makes you appreciate where you live & how grateful you are.

I love heights, I love views, I love the serenity & peace when you look out into the distance.

The only bummer is that this beautiful sunset doesn’t last very long before nighttime falls. You have to catch it whilst you can 🌤

We live in such a beautiful world.

This is today’s sunset, how beautiful!!
