Hello lovely people ❤
I pray you all had a beautiful weekend. I had THE BEST weekend. EVER!
Both Saturday + Sunday, I spent w/ Rach, she made my birthday one to remember.
Saturday, I went to the Mind, Body & Soul Festival. I go every year, the event is on 2 times per year. Once in May & One in October, I am there without fail. I love it! I purchased 3 books this year.
- The Little Book of Hygge by Meik Wiking
- It’s All Good by Cassie Mendoza-Jones (Started reading this one on the train to work)
- Positive Energy by Tanaaz Chubbs
I than went to the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre & went for a swim w/ Rach, that was SO much FUN. Swimming isn’t easy, I woke up the next day w/ a SORE BODY. The chlorine dried out my skin SOOOOOO much, but was def worth the experience. The last time I went to the Aquatic Centre, I would’ve been atleast 10 years old.

We than went out for food, I had a lovely acai bowl, whilst Rach had a breakfast plate.
Rach also did my nails, she did a nude colour shellac coating w/ some gold glitter on the accent nail. #birthdaynails
I also watched SLEEPING BEAUTY for the FIRST time… ever! Yes, I know where was I as a child? Why didn’t I watch Disney movies? I know, I know, I am the wost. I only watched The Lion King last year.
I loved Sleeping Beauty, I was so intrigued. I than watched Maleficent… WOW! That is a whole different BALL GAME. Has anyone watched that?

On Sunday, Rach took me out for my birthday. We went for a walk at Barangaroo, Sydney – the view was amazing. I would love to do a picnic there in the near future, it was AMAZING. We sat by the sun & had a beautiful morning, chatting etc.
We than made out way to The Langham for a beautiful treatment, I had the most amazing massage of my life, the therapist was amazing, she really took a lot of the knots out of my body (I am so knotted from the gym as well as sleeping like a PRETZEL & also sitting at a computer desk all day.
I felt like a new woman after it!

We than had access to the pool, spa, sauna – what an amazing experience. the inside of this pool area AMAZED me so much. It was honestly the most amazing experience – the pool was set at a nice warm temperature.
We than got ready for our High Tea lunch together, got dressed up, put some make up on, did my hair & off we went upstairs to our High Tea experience.
I absolutely loved it, I tried food I would NEVER try.
I WAS SOOOOOOOO FULL.
Al the food came out on a cute Cupcake-looking-stand. When you see it, you think there’s only a little bit of this & a little bit of that.
BUT… Don’t be fooled. I was full just after the bottom tier. The scones filled me up. BUT they were the best SCONES of my life. & I’ve tried my fair share of scones. The jam was delicious & they whipped their own cream there. I WAS AMAZED.
Below is a photo of the menu & the things we got to try.
(Look at the design of the cup & plate, sooooo cute)

The only thing I didn’t like & I have to be honest is Duck Liver Parfait, when Rach & I tried, we both look at each other & just put the food back on the table.
I would never try DUCK but I did & I am proud. The food was lovely. By the time we got the the top of the tier, I was STUFFFFFFFFFFED. My stomach was going to burst.
I also had the most beautiful tea, I had a peach flower tea pot, it was honestly such a beautiful tea.
I really need to see if T2 has this tea, I WILL BUY IT!
Just when I thought it was all over… Rach organised a lovely platter of chocolates to come out & they wrote Happy Birthday on the plate. It was so lovely of Rach to organise this. I was gobbsmacked!
The walk back to car was NEEDED bc I was SOOOOOO FULL. It was a mission to walk back to the car in my heels BUT I did it 🙂

Rach got a nice photo of my outside The Langham when we were leaving which I really like.
I am so happy that I got to share my weekend w/ you all.
I am so excited for this week leading up to my birthday 🙂
I am very grateful of such a beautiful weekend from such a beautiful & lovely friend ❤
