God Is With Us

God Is With Us

Hello loves, ❤

Are there days that you feel all alone? You wish for someone to keep you company; to be with you every step of the journey that we call life. You want someone to do things for you even without asking them to. You want someone to listen to your problems or how your day went. You want someone constant in your life; someone that won’t leave. They see how bad things get, but choose to stay every day. They know you aren’t perfect but love you just the same. Someone that will make you feel special. You want someone to give us genuine love.

You already have that someone. That someone is God.

God always keeps us company even when we feel all alone. God watches over us in everything we do, good or bad. God gives us more than what we want; God gives us what we need. God gives us strength when we are weak and afraid to carry on. God is the listening ear we want after a bad day. God is the shoulder to cry on when we can’t stop the tears from coming. God knows we aren’t perfect but loves us as if we are and never asks us to be. God made us all special in our own way and makes us feel special each day with our own lessons to learn.

We get upset with God when we don’t get what we want, but we forget to thank God for giving us what we need. We blame God for our bad days but forget God’s responsible for the good ones, sometimes the best days of our lives. When we put ourselves in tough situations, we blame God instead of taking full responsibility for our actions.

God’s love is a privilege that we shouldn’t take for granted. God gave us so much more than we’ll ever deserve, but we can try to earn it.

We can start by talking to God. We need to thank God for the blessings of each day; see the silver lining of every situation. Tell God how our day went and our plans for the next day. Take the ideas of what we need to do and put them into action for God’s greater glory. We need to aspire to be like God; love like God. We need to love others without any reason to; no hidden agendas.

Love for the sake of loving. Help people up, not pull them down. Everything we’re going through is all part of God’s plan; we need to trust in God. Sometimes we have to take a leap of faith first and the trust part will come later because everything will work out in God’s perfect timing.

Wherever you are in the world, have a lovely day ❤

  1. One of my favorite scriptures is Isaiah 41:10 which says, “Do not be afraid, for I am with you.Do not be anxious, for I am your God.I will fortify you, yes, I will help you,I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.” Jehovah is always with us and it’s important to really study God’s word well so we can learn about him, get close to him and strengthen our faith in him. He is a real person with feelings and emotions and it pains him when we don’t rely on him and look to him for help and guidance. Isaiah 48:17,18 says, “This is what Jehovah says, your Repurchaser, the Holy One of Israel:“I, Jehovah, am your God,The One teaching you to benefit yourself,The One guiding you in the way you should walk. 18 If only you would pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a riverAnd your righteousness like the waves of the sea.”

  2. I think the hardest concept that people have in securing a proper concept of God is that He/She is not apart from us, but actually in us. This is best reflected in the name Immanuel, meaning “El/God with us.” God is the sustaining energy within our soul, and our soul/our own spiritual person/energy is the actual us which animates our body. A body without a soul is a corpse. In the same way a soul without the Spirit of the Living God is a husk – living but free from life giving animation. We cannot come to God without God in us. There is a separation of dimensions/realities.

So in one sense we say we come to God, but in a very real sense God is already present, unless we are soulless. We just have to fully reconnect and activate the Energy within. “Christ in you the hope of glory”, Colossians 1:27.

Such a beautiful and encouraging post, Miss Lovely! ❤
You make me think on the hymn
"O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
And my song shall ever be:
O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
Is my Savior’s love for me!"
❤ ❤ Me and God love you!

  4. I love this post! God is most definitely always with us and that is what keeps me going through some of the darkest periods of my life. Through the ups and downs, regardless of how hopeless it seems, He is with us. It is by His grace I’m still alive. Thank you for such a beautiful post!

  5. Phenomenal! We try to speak on this daily, especially on Sundays – we have morning prayer with the children and speak on the days lectures, break it down to their level and ask how their week has been, how we can apply Gods work to their lives today. The older ones go to school and are able to open up about the correlation between the word and their days in school. Thank you for this, even as a mom with a family of 8, with chronic pain, it can really feel lonely. However, I know God continues to have a plan for me and He will never leave my side. As bad as my health gets, it is He who continues to guide me and support me. 💛🙏🏽
