Hello loves, ❀

HAPPY THURSDAY! (It’s Thursday here in Sydney, Australia) How is everyone going? I had a public holiday yesterday as it was ANZAC Day here in Australia.

I went on a picnic with my family & it was lovely πŸ™‚ I love everyΒ  minute of it – it’s lovely to spend time with you loved ones, bond with them & have a good time together πŸ™‚

We had a picnic then did a ROPES COURSE – holy moly – IT WAS CRAZY! We started on the BLACK NINJA COURSE & it was the most craziest decision EVER! I had a cry, my legs were shaking, my mouth was DRY, I had a panic attach – IT WAS DISASTROUS. But… I did it, only half the course. I actually realised how UNFIT I am. Time to work on this! (Especially if I want to be doing fun runs etc)

I’ve been looking into FUN RUNS in 2018 in my area & it has been fun to see what is coming up around my area – I would love to try to be physically involved as much outdoor activities as possible.

Stadium StompΒ is coming up & I really want to do it – I know I will die BUT… I want to give it a try.

ALSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOO.. We are 14 days away from The Mindful Bootcamp I am attending which I am super excited about – I pray this teaches me how to control my anxiety & understand my triggers etc.

Here we are again, throwing 1000 views into the bag yet again.

Thank you to everyone’s love & support – WE ARE 5 DAYS AWAY FROM OUR 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Discovering Your Happiness is turning TWO! that time has gone so fast. I cannot believe its been 2 years ❀

Thank you to the below people that have re-blogged my work:

What does everyone have planned for the weekend?

Wherever you are in the world, have a lovely day ❀

  1. Congratulations! I’ve done a ropes course with my nephew. It was terrifying but in a weird way I loved it. I have to admit I hurt for a week after. 🀣 Tomorrow I’m having a book release party. Wahoo!

      1. The party was a blast! The proof of the paperback back arrived an hour before and so everyone could actually touch it and look at it. They even insisted I read a passage from the book so I read the part about how it’s my friends who really make my life so abundant. I almost cried. Such an experience!

      2. It’s on Amazon. I can send you the link if you tell me whether you want paperback or Kindle. Or if you search “thriving not surviving” it’s near the top 😁

  2. The black ninja course sounds like a lot of fun. I used to do a 12 k every year until we moved out of the area of the world’s largest in Spokane WA. Must have ran it a half dozen times or better. I had a tee shirt for each year in my closet for the longest time.

Hope you’re OK after your episode.
It sounds like you got back up on that horse again, but I truly am praying for you as well.
Praying for you on your fun runs too, as well as your boot camp!

    1. Lol, Katie you’re funny πŸ™‚

No, Discovering Your Happiness has no social media platforms, only WordPress.

This has taken me 2 years to grow, it didn’t happen overnight.

Yes, I post every day – Sometimes 1-4 blogs per day depending on what I want to share.

I found that I gained followers from just being myself, not being fake, not being someone I am not. I speak openly about my anxiety, depression, social media problems, self esteems issues. I like to be that little reminder that we are all human.

I also like to interact with my followers by reading their blogs & commenting on them.

I also write articles that reflect on a lot of peoples feelings, whereby people tend to relate.

I also do a lot of tags & awards, where I then tag new/more people.

      Hope this helps ❀

      1. You’re my superstar! Thanks so much … that’s really kind of you to have taken the trouble to answer my questions. It’s really helpful and I shall persevere all the more now!
        Thanks again! Katie 😘
