Hello loves,
I needed to blog this!
I would love to get your lovely people’s opinions & advice.
So, in one of my favourite stores, I seen that you can purchase this box & every day you are meant to randomly select a folded paper & it’s a piece of advice to work with ☺️
I randomly picked out the below:
I then opened it up & seen:
Honestly, it bought tears to my eyes bc it links sooooooooooo much with what I am going through at this point in time.
I foresee this quote as to let go of the past to move forward, I have to let go of what’s weighing me down to fly.
I would love to hear how you all would interpret this lovely quote 🙏🏽
Wherever you are in this world, have a lovely day ❤
Near the end of the year, I look at what has accumulated in my life, and choose what will carry over into the following year. The winter months are spent letting go of people, places, and things that don’t make my heart happy anymore.
My plate is pretty empty come spring, and I have ample room for new.
Look at your being like an onion. Peeling off one layer of skin at a time. Eventually we get to the good part of the onion to use in our recipe called life, and we never cut off the root. xx

I love this! This sounds like a great idea to reflect 🙂
I love that you referenced this to being an onion.
I love the way that this links in with life ❤

What do you think of yourself now? What do you want to be? What is standing in the way from making it happen? Shedding our old skin is to tell ourselves a new story, and come into a new life. ❤

This is such a cute idea…I just love,LOVE this!!!…
I think as the others have stated it is a new way to start fresh and start new again…shed that skin and fly free like a beautiful bird…free… it is always great to look within and watch a change happen…

So be like a snake 🐍 is how I interpreted it. Shed your past and don’t bring the bagged with when you’re generating new skin, and new beginnings.

Love this! Exactly where I am in this moment. Trying to chunk what doesn’t work and keep what does work in my life, mentally and physically. It is making all the difference in the world in my happiness.

I love this idea! And the cards and box are so beautifully patterned – where did you get it from? Can they be purchased online? 🙂

They are from a place called Habitana in Sydney, Australia – I am not sure where you can buy them 😦

I think shedding your old skin can basically mean “to change”. Sometimes we lose so many possibilities just because we dont want to get out of our comfort zone or were too afraid. If we change to overcome it then new possibilities open up.

Yes… TO CHANGE 🙂 I need this! I rarely get myself out of my comfort zone.

This is a great quote. Like Dee said, shedding skin allows us to let go of the things that aren’t working and are keeping us from thriving.

Shedding skin is a great metaphor for letting go of the past, releasing any part of you that no longer fits and moving forward a little different. This is something I’m always working on… Letting go of old ideas or thoughts that might be holding me back. Excellent question.
Side note…. I love the idea of that box!

I think this really powerful and I was reminiscing last night about how we change so much throughout a year. I was thinking of the fact I have ‘shed my old skin’, I guess now I have progressed and renewed into someone better in a awakening skin’. I think we all do it without even noticing. Great post by the way!

“Snakes shed regularly throughout their life to enable growth as their old skin does not stretch to accommodate it.” This is the literal reason why snakes shed their skin and I feel like that reason alone is the universe telling you to start fresh, learn from the past but be open to any changes coming your way 🙂

I love this! I am going to think of shedding in that way ❤ Thank you so much Nat, xx

I would go with your interpretation of “I have to let go of what’s weighing me down to fly,” but also add:
Shed your old skin, but don’t discard it entirely; remember who you used to be, but don’t let your past define you. Use your past and present to build an even better future.
