Hello loves, ❤
Thank you Ingrid Madison Ave for nominating me for the 3 Day Quote Challenge.
Here we are for the third & final day, this has been fun 🙂 I am so happy to be nominated for this as I feel that you lovely people got to know about me a little bit more.
If you missed the last two days, you can find them below:
Rules:
- Thank the person who nominated you.
- Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
- Share why this quote appeals so much to you.
- Nominate 3 different bloggers for each day.
This quote! 6 words have never impacted me so hard! THIS! I received a little Kikki K desk quote stand. To gather a better under standing, this is what they look like 🙂
I cam across this pictured quote & I instantly fell in love! I am constantly wanting THE FINISH line, ALL THE TIME! I want it right now! I am very impatient & I tend to get very frustrated along my journey bc it may be taking longer for a certain something to happen.
Coming across this quote opened my eyes to understand that even though we may be taking baby steps, when we look back we’ve walked so FAR in life.
I can use my anxiety as an example, 4 years ago I NEVER PICTURED MYSELF WHERE I AM NOW. I was bed ridden, had given up & was at my darkest point in life. But step by step & day by day my mindset began to shift & when I look back I cannot believe ‘how far I’ve walked’ & how far I have come.
My Nominees:
- Bipolar Online
- Sea of Words
- Therapy Bits
I can’t wait to see the quotes you love & why ❤
My Thoughts On This Challenge:
I am so happy that I have been nominated for this award. I got to share a part of me that is very close to me. My anxiety is apart of my life & I come as a package deal. It’s me + my anxiety ❤ I am so grateful that these 3 quotes over the last 3 days have been anxiety related, as I said earlier, it’s amazing how strong & powerful a quote can be & how much it can change your mindset & shift your thought pattern.
Wherever you are in the world, have a lovely day ❤
Step by step…such truth and wisom is this small yet powerful quote.
I help men who struggle with addictions. And their journey is most definitely a step by step process. Many worry about tomorrow or the next day and I’m like no… concentrate on today… concentrate on this moment and stay strong.
Thanks for this wonderful reminder!
God Bless,
Stu

So comforting and therapeutic! In times of my anxiety, a quote like this reminds me of the old sayings “One Day at a Time” and “one thing at a time,” except it also boosts my very depleted confidence to reflect on something I didn’t expect… whatever I’ve already accomplished just by continuing to try… just from not giving up. I smile! 🙂
Your comment, “6 words have never impacted me so hard” reminds me of a dear old friend who use to live by a 10 Two Words motto… “IF IT IS TO BE, IT IS UP TO ME.” He happened to work in the public eye too and share that with everyone. He had me put it on my wall for a long time!
I’ve enjoyed your quotes. I’m so glad you have a blog that we will continue to see your gift of helping others in Discovering Your Happiness! 🙂

Yes, it’s amazing how certain steps are planted in front of us when we need it the most.

❤️ this is a fantastic quote and something that I need to be reminded of! Sometimes I try to do it all at once instead of one step at a time. 🙂
