Hello my loves ❤

I hope everyone is doing well.

WOW. What a week it has been – I have had a few days off (some of my scheduled posts have gone up instead), I have had tonsillitis, they were the size of GOLF BALLS. I had 3 days off work, its been tragic.

BUT… I am back at work now, caught up on my work whilst I was away & I also caught up on all insights, comments, re-blogs & award nominations that I’ve been tagged in.

Thank you to everyone for your patience with my replies, yes I’ve slacken off BUT..  I was sick, I know thats not an excuse but I was truly just resting, watching some movies & attempting to drink soup (It was hard o do so bc my tonsils were so inflamed)

ANYWAYS.. Enough of this negative Nancy talk about my sickness.. Lets talk about something GREAT!

52,000 views – Here we are again, some more views to add to the goody bag ❤

I am so grateful of all of you constantly following, liking, commenting, re-blogging etc. Without your support, I wouldn’t be where I am today in the blogging world ❤

It’s so lovely to know that my blogs touch peoples lives in a way I never imagined they would, I am so happy to read peoples comments after a blog is posted in regards to how the blog made them feel & what they will take away from the blog.

Thank you to the below people who have nominated me for some amazing wars : (I will do my reply over the next 24 hours)

Achieve Your Goals

Good morning loves, ❤

As you may have noticed, I’m the kind of person who likes to set goals. There are so many things I’d like to accomplish, and coming up with concrete goals every month makes it manageable for me (otherwise my head might explode).

Write it down, and don’t worry about it being too big or too small. As you work through these other steps, you might find you’re able to be more specific.

There’s a reason you wanted to work on this goal in the first place, so make sure you write it down in case you find yourself struggling later. Maybe it’s to feel better about yourself, to further your career, or to gain a new skill.

If you set a time frame for yourself, there’s more pressure to actually work on your goal (in a good way). Maybe your goal is to start running. Well, there are so many different ways you could measure that. Do you want to run 2 miles every other day, run 10 miles total every week, run for 20 minutes every day, run 20 times by the end of the month, run a marathon by Jan 30th? Be as specific as you can.

If there’s no incentive to achieve your goal, you’re not going to be motivated to try. Choose something you would like but don’t really need, like a new nail polish or a new loose leaf tea.

Break your goal down into smaller steps to make it more manageable. If we’re going with the running goal above, some smaller steps could be to lay your running gear out the night before, log your runs in a journal to stay on track, and find two new trails to go running on.

Think in positives. If your goal is to stop doing something, think of an alternative that you can start doing instead. If your goal is ‘I will not check Snapchat at work’, try to turn it into something positive like, ‘I will log out of Facebook while I’m at work.’

Find the underlying goal. As you keep asking yourself how and why you want to achieve your goal, you might discover that you have an underlying goal instead. Example: I need to stop hitting the snooze button. Why? Because it makes me late for work. Why do I hit the snooze button? Because I’m tired. Why am I tired? Because I went to bed too late. Maybe the real goal here should be to go to bed earlier.

What goals are you working with at the moment?

Wherever you are in the world, have a lovely day ❤
