Brief story on how my blog started:
My blog started back in May 2016, I was thinking about it for a very long time – I was always a blog reader, a youtube watcher, a book reader etc. I wanted to step into the blog world to showcase what I get up to in my every day life as well as share tips + tricks on how to cope w/ anxiety. As an anxiety sufferer, I have found blogging calming & relaxing. The blogging world is an amazing world to be in + everyone is so lovely + supportive.
2 pieces of advice for new bloggers:
Don’t be someone you are not! I cannot stress this one enough. Be you + only you! People love you for you not for who you are not. Stepping into the blogging world, I said to myself I wouldn’t be someone I wasn’t. I was going to share w/ people the real me, that’s why you see what I get up to on the weekend + also what I am going through mentally. When you be someone you are not, it’s mentally exhausting – be yourself, it’s more natural.
Connect +communicate w/ your followers! This was something I did since day one – I constantly was in contact w/ all my followers, I would always keep a tab of my blog open + be alerted when someone comment, I would like their comment + write back straight away. Take the time to read other peoples blogs, I love writing on peoples blogs after reading their content, it’s a lovely way to communicate + it lets them know you care as well as read their blogs.
