Hey lovely person!
Today is a practical but really important task: today you are going to give yourself a physical health check.
If you don’t know what a physical health check is, it’s something like when your car has to have annually to check it’s roadworthy. All the main bits are checked – tyres, oil, electrics…oh, I don’t know! But it gives your car the once over and sorts out any problems to make sure its safe.
So what about you? Have a think about if you’re due for:
- Dental check up
- Eye test
- Cervical smear
- Blood pressure
Get your diary out and get it booked now. I mean it. Now. No excuses. Make it happen. It’s basic self care.
Joking aside, these are things that often we keep meaning to do but keep putting off, and putting off and putting off, but can LITERALLY save your life.
You don’t like having a smear done? Well guess what – no one does, but it’s a few minutes of being uncomfortable and could save your life.
A serious subject yes, but an important one.
Get booking 😛
Stay tuned for Day 13.
Wherever you are in the world, have a lovely day ❤
You had to remind me I’m due for some of that didn’t you 😉 guess I’m calling Tuesday (holiday here Monday)

Thats right – no excuses – I tend to make EVERY excuse under the sun BUT… moving forward my goal is to not do that 🙂

OMG eye test. You totally made me feel guilty when you said eye test. I didn’t want to upgrade my glasses ( for sure there will be an upgrade because I can see that I can’t see things clearly) but I put it off saying that I’ll do eye exercises and fix my eye sight naturally. But that never happened 😥 I lied to myself. I feel bad now😞

😦 My post is by all meas not mean to make you feel guilty – & I am sorry for making you feel that way, please forgive me.
My goal for this post was to motivate us to make those nasty appointments that we slip under the rug. ie eye tests, dentist appointments etc.
I mentioned these bc I know that I tend to do this – I delayed my dentist appointment for my wisdom tooth than before you knew it my wisdom tooth started pushing my other teeth so thats when I knew I should do something about it.
I tend to wait till the last minute & bc I do that I wanted to motivate others to do that ❤

Hey i just meant it in a humorous way. It was actually funny when your post made me to reflect on my actions and I just wanted to share that. Maybe my definition of guilty is different 🤔…What I meant by “feeling guilty” is I just found that ‘I am guilty’, or something like that, but in no ways it made me feel sad/unhappy/guilty.
I wasn’t totally serious when I said that. Sorry I didn’t make that clear😅

PHHHHEWw! Thank god – I got sooooo scared that I offended you. My apologies ❤
Don't apologise – you've got nothing to apologise for.
I just wanted to ensure that I was sorry for making you feel sad.
thanks for clearing that up with me ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
