21 Day Self Care Challenge Day Ten

Hey lovely person!

Is it day 10 already? Where does the time go?

When was the last time you read a book for pleasure?

I love books, I love to read and my bookshelves are stacked with books I’ve bought and not read yet.

Why is that?

Well for me, it’s because of technology. I find in the evenings I can get lost down a social media rabbit hole, emerging hours later, blinking at the clock and thinking ‘what just happened?’. Youtube & Instagram are the WORST for me – what are the ones you are stuck on?

And reading in the day, even on an ‘official’ break seems so decadent!

There are 2 things we’ve looked at on this challenge already which might help you with this – lunch break from day 3 and Amish hour from day 2.

So to get you started on reading just for pleasure, today I want you to start a wishlist for books.

Start a reading list, and find at least 5 books that appeal to you, and then get the one that looks the most interesting.

I have a one hour train ride to work + an hour train ride back – this gives me ‘me time’ to read a book. I am reading a great one at the moment called ‘You are Enough’ best book on self confindence + self imagine + self love.

You’re going to LOVE tomorrow task, it’s all about relaxation and stress relief.
