Good morning lovely people – it’s Friday morning here in Sydney, Australia + I am sitting at my work desk, ready to start the day.
Something has caught my attention which I most certainly wanted to share with all of you.
For 3 nights straight, I have been dreaming of being on a roller coaster. Different roller coaster, different location, different people + I was scared (as I always am over roller coasters)
I am horoscope + dream believer (Sorry, if you are not!)
I googled what this means + I will insert it here below:
The symbol of the roller coaster means that you will be challenged in life, as the bumpy ride is how you will feel about a situation. How did you feel about the roller coaster? Was it big? Was you excited? Your feeling in the dream state will give you an idea of how to approach the problem. For instance, say you don’t want to ride the roller coaster because you are too frightened then this can show that you will encounter a scary situation that will worry you in real life. This is just a reflection of your feeling in the dream. To dream of enjoying the ride and having “fun” riding on the roller coaster and having this excitement is also associated to how you will feel in life soon. When you dream about a roller coaster, often there is a lot going on and your life, you are experiencing a time of flux, erratic behaviors, or simply a lot of excitement. Dreams of roller coasters can be both positive and negative.
We all have moments in life when things seems overwhelming but it is a good kind of excitement such as a new job, getting married, having a baby, entering college, or taking on a new challenge in life. When you are sitting at the front of the roller coaster, then this is a sign of taking the challenges head on and being in the excitement and submerging yourself. If you linger in the back, are nervous or decide last minute that you are not going to ride, you want to consider how you can be more assertive in your own waking life and what you are avoiding.
When you see a roller coaster in your dream you know you are in for a ride in your waking life. Where you sit on the roller coaster, this is a tale sign of how you are handling stress and intense activity or momentum in your life. Now is the time to grab life by the horns and ride it for all its worth. While you may be experiencing a high time in your life understand that the changes you are going through are for the better and you are going to come out the other side brighter, happier, and wiser. The roller coaster is a good sign if you are having the right attitude and mind set about it.
A roller coaster might be a sign that there are challenges in your life and you will have ups and downs. When you ride a roller coaster with a close friend or a partner in a dream this indicates that the issues you are going through are romantic or social. It is normal to experience lulls in relationships and things cannot be fun, fun, fun all of the time. It’s okay to need a break or a small time out in order to have time for yourself. Express your feelings openly and make plans for the future so that people around you are not feeling left out.
This dream is in association with the following scenarios in your life…
- Being fully aware of your life and where you are in it.
- Allowing self to have fun or let loose.
- Being irresponsible.
- Overcoming your fears.
There are certain things going on at the moment in my life where I feel that the meaning of this dream makes SO SO SO much sense.
I am going through change + aswell as being challenged along the way.
I pray that these dreams are coming to me as a positive thing to motivate me to keep moving forward.
My question to you: Do you believe in dreams?
Wherever you are in the world, have a lovely day ❤
I’m always having such bizarre dreams; I hope that they don’t mean anything to be honest! But I do have a good amount of dreams involving cute fluffy animals. 😊

Even your bizarre dreams have some form of subliminal message within them – cute fluffy animals are always good 😉

My job is so stressful nowadays that I’m constantly dreaming that I’m stuck in a meeting with my clients.. *le sigh*

Oh no, nothing worse than a stressful job 😦
Maybe explore ways to make it non-stressful & ask yourself, is there anything I can do to make my workplace & workload less stressful.
You’d be surprised that little changes you make can make an overall BIG change for yourself ❤

That is an interesting dream, especially for multiple nights. I feel it means you have the courage to do things that challenge you to grow, that may be hard for you. Like a roller coaster, a safe but possibly still scary environment to address your fears. Working to get over unreasonable limitations in us is always a good thing. I confronted my fear of public speaking, practiced a lot, and now years later I have no fear of that any more, in fact speaking to an audience excites me. I say, find it, and go for it!

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to comment 🙂
I feel that I am attempting to be more courageous w/ the things that are challenging me.
I guess it is just hard when you have inner demon sitting on one shoulder whispering negative thins in your ear.
I am so happy to hear that you have conquered your fears – GOOD WORK!

Yes, dreams are good. Too many adults settle for a life less ordinary. They stop dreaming. Kids are excellent teachers of dreaming.

I absolutely do. God tells us that He talks to us in our dreams, and for that reason we are to be careful what we allow in so that we will know His voice. Sometimes I do allow distractions, but what a blessing when we know it is Him!
BTW… I’ve only been on one roller coaster ever… lol. Praying for you and your dreams. Sounds interesting.

I very much believe in dreams! Any time I dream and something stands out from it, I look it up and most of the time, the symbolism very much applies to whatever I’m currently going through. ❤ Thanks for sharing!

I am so happy you are a dream believer, some call me crazy but I like how they link in with my personal ‘awake’ life 🙂 It’s amazing to think what we dream have little subliminal meanings for what we are going through. ❤ ❤ ❤
