Complaining is Toxic to our Soul

Are you a complainer? I AM GUILTY! I feel that is all I do 😦

When we look at the below w/ fresh eyes, we realise how bad complaining really can be for our mental & physical health.

Below are 10 reasons complaining is toxic for our souls.

  1. Makes things look worse
  2. Becomes a habit
  3. Skews our focus
  4. Increases complaining
  5. Makes people blue
  6. Kills creativity
  7. Rewards negative
  8. Causes bad relationships
  9. Create ‘complaining companions’
  10. Leads to pessimism

When I think of the above I think of: Philippians 2:14-16

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”[a] Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.
