Lush Dark Angels Review

Some of the lovely girls I work with introduced me to this product not too long ago – It the Dark Angels Cleanser from Lush Cosmetics.IMG_4296

The love that I have developed for this product is CRAZY! I absolutely adore it.

The only thing I do different is that I scrub my face w/ it (as advised) but than make a paste & apply it as a 5-10 min face mask also. (You don’t have to do this) I just like the feel of it on my face.

I love that all products are 100% vegetarian, they are all handmade & they fight animal testing.

This is a cleanser for those who really like to scrub their skin to feel clean, with black sugar and charcoal to exfoliate, and rhassoul mud to deeply cleanse. They also use cold pressed avocado oil and vegetable glycerine to moisturise and soften the skin after all that scrubbing, leaving the skin feeling balanced and fresh. Sandalwood and rosewood oils give a rich, earthy fragrance and have a cooling and antiseptic effect on the skin. They buy their powdered charcoal locally in Dorset. It’s a great way to exfoliate and is deeply cleansing, whilst black suIMG_4299gar is in here to scrub away any dead skin cells, leaving the skin feeling bright & refreshed.

The ingredients that are used in this product are: Rhassoul Mud, Organic Avocado Oil, Glycerine, Powdered Charcoal, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Black Sugar, Perfume, *Linalool, Sandalwood Oil (Santalum austro-caledonicum vieill and Fusanus spicatus) & Rosewood Oil.

I would really like to broaden my collection of Lush products as when I do go in there, there is n=so much that captures & that I really want to try. They have anything from, cleansers, lotions, deodorants, to shampoos, teeth products & even make up.

I love doing face masks as they are super therapeutic to me, I find it soothing, calming & peaceful – its a piece of me-time that I really enjoy.

I will keep you all up to date on any new products that I purchase from there 🙂

  1. Great review! 🙂 I’ve just bought some more Lush products myself yesterday to try out. I’ve heard Let The Good Times Roll and Angels On Bare Skin’s supposed to be good as well but I’ve not got round to trying them yet!
Keep up the good work! 🙂
