I have finally made my social media decision – I am going back to Instagram !

The decision has finally been made, I have honestly been thinking about this for sooo long! And, when I say sooo long, I mean months.

I had to think about the pros + cons but I truly did think about it & I think I do want to go back.

I want to be apart of the Instagram world specifically for Discovering Your Happiness.

Iย will be posting upcoming content of my website, flatlays, views, places I visit, letting people know when I have posted on my website. That’s the main goal why I want this ๐Ÿ™‚

I am ready, I got this, I am going in w/ a fresh mind, I will not fall into the old trap of looking at others profiles etc, I will be on there strictly for my own benefit & if I fall from the rails, I’ll deactivate.

I want to tidy up a few things on my website first before I get my Instagram back up & running.

I will let you allย know once it is back up & running give me a few days to tidy things up & I will be good to go ๐Ÿ™‚

Just wanting to let you all know that I have made the decision ๐Ÿ™‚

I am not sure if I want my own name attached to it or if I want the name to be Discovering Your Happiness.

*Give me your thoughts on this* I’d love to hearย everyone’s opinion on this.

  1. Instagram is great for posting pictures, you will easily attract more users, but response is bad. Basically its just a liking business. People don’t talk in detail, or ask a question. But that’s how its designed. Where are while blogging you can expect a better interaction, but follower count is less.
Everything has a purpose, so just do what you are good at it. Rule number one in life is “Never expect anything back” ๐Ÿ˜€
Btw great blog, I will wait for your instagram to become live! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks for your feedback, I will really take this on board – i think I just want social media as a platform to re-direct instagramers to my blog; showcasing new content that I will upload into my blog, than people can go onto my blog to read the post (if that makes sense) I never expect anything back, I think thats why I am so grateful w/ my progress w/ my blog. Thank you for your kind words, stay tuned, I will announce when my instagram is live.

      1. What you are doing is correct way, but what I have experienced is people seldom get routed to blogs from Instagram. Even I am trying to do it but not very successful… ๐Ÿ˜€ Anyway good luck. Nice you see your blog! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks David ๐Ÿ™‚ I knew this needed to be done to reach other platforms however I just had to figure out when the right time was ๐Ÿ™‚ Sometime I don’t thin its worth my time however, I really would like to expand he horizon ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. For me it helps to only follow those who I won’t check out constantly. I know it sounds kinda weird however I always check out the people who take a lot of selfies and portrait their life as perfect. When I don’t follow those people, I don’t have the craving to check them out.

    1. Yes! I think thats something I am going to have to do ๐Ÿ™‚ Yes, me too – I def feel you there sister. I am constantly looking at these people too! Out of sight, out of mind – when I don’t see them, I do not worry.
