Full Body Workout

Today I went to the gym & said to my self, I am going to smash a full body workout AND… I did! #missioncomplete

Having my ‘girlies’ at the moment (sorry, boys!) is making my tummy so so so sore, I didn’t think I could smash out a full body workout but one I started I was okay.

Unfortunately I am not in the right headspace at the moment, so I felt that I most certainly needed a gym session, the gym really helps w/ my anxiety, it takes my mind to another place.

Below is my workout that I’d love to share w/ you all:

Warm Up:

  • Full body stretch
  • 5km run on treadmill at speed 6.5

Legs:

  • 3 sets x 15 reps of 30kg leg press
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of 30kg calf raises
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of 15kg deadlifts
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of 15kg squats

Arms:

  • 3 sets x 15 reps of seated row
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of lat pull down
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of assisted chin ups
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of assisted tricep dips
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of tricep pull down
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of tricep overhead pull

Abs:

  • 3 sets x 15 reps of full body crunch w/ 6kg ball
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of leg raises w/ high bum lift
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of russian twists w/ 6kg ball
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of torso twists in plank position
  • 3 sets x 15 reps of captain chair

Cool down:

  • Full body stretch
  • 1km slow walk at speed 3.0
