Fitness Week 30/01/ – 05/02

Ah, another week of working out – very happy w/ my progress in certain areas. However, I have slackened off in certain departments too ie arms & abs 😦 I know this is something I’ll def pick back up this week & record these in my notes & share either next Sunday night or Monday morning.

I am enjoying working out, it’s really good for your mental state of mind, I also like the sense of feeling accomplished by 630am which is an awesome feeling.

My mornings set the tone for the rest of the day & when I have a workout in the morning & feel productive, I am set for the rest of the day. By 6:30 am, I’ve rode the bike, done my body workout, showered, gotten dressed for work, done my face & hair, tidied my bedroom, ate breakfast & in the car to go to the station.

Another reason I like working out in the morning is that the rest of the world is asleep, being outside at 5:00am in the morning is amazing, the crisp fresh air is lovely (hasn’t really been crisp the last few days as we’ve had some heat waves) but just being silent with the word is a lovely feeling. I think to myself, I can’t wait to work out in winter bc there won’t be hot mornings, haha, winter will come & I won’t want to get out my snuggly bed.

J & I did another walk at Brighton this weekend, it was THE BEST! I really enjoy going for walks w/ him – we don’t go to the same gym so to walk together + exercise together is really fun. He motivates me which I really like 🙂

Monday Night:

26km Bike Ride

50 x calf raises

30 x squats w/ 5kg medicine ball

30 x sit ups

30 x leg raises

30 x torso plank twists

30 x push ups

30 x tricep dip

Tuesday morning:

50 x calf raises

30 x squats w/ 5kg medicine ball

30 x sit ups

30 x leg raises

30 x torso plank twists

Tuesday night:

10km Bike Ride

50 x calf raises

30 x squats

 
Wednesday morning:

50 x calf raises

30 x squats w/ 5kg medicine ball

Wednesday night:

16km Bike Ride

50 x calf raises

30 x squats w/ 5kg medicine ball

50 x sit ups

30 x leg raises

30 x torso plank twists

30 x push ups

30 x tricep dip

Thursday night: 

10km Bike Ride

50 x calf raises

30 x squats w/ 5kg medicine ball

30 x sit ups

30 x leg raises

30 x torso plank twists

30 x push ups

30 x tricep dip

Friday morning:

20km Bike Ride

50 x calf raises

30 x squats + tricep bends w/ 5kg medicine ball

30 x sit ups

30 x leg raises

30 x torso plank twists

30 x push ups

30 x tricep dip

Saturday night:

28km Bike Ride

J & I did a 5km walk @ Brighton Le Sands

Sunday:

50 calf raises

30 squats

TOTAL (Just bc I want to see the total amount, hehe)

Bike: 110kms

Walk/Run: 5kms

Calf Raises: 450

Squats: 240

Sit Ups: 170

Leg Raises: 170

Torso Plank Twists: 170

Push Ups: 140

Tricep Dips: 140
