When you feel lonely & sad:
- I feel the love of those who are not physically around me.
- I take pleasure in my own solitude.
- I am too big a gift to this world to feel self-pity.
- I love and approve of myself
- I am valued even when I am not productive.
- I am loved — despite my sadness
- I am not sick because of a lack of effort or a failure at adjusting faulty thoughts.
- I am appreciated even when I can’t contribute much.
- I am needed — even though I feel worthless.
- I am not any less of a person because certain people can’t understand my illness.
- I am strong in my weakness.
- I am much more than my opinions of myself.
- My brain is my friend (despite what I hear).
- My discomfort won’t last forever.
- I am resilient.
- I am a silent warrior.
- I am okay where I am right now.
- I am a gift from God.
- This life is a blessing & I need to learn to appreciate it.
- This life has been giving to me for a reason.
- I am grateful for all that is around me.
- I have encountered past experiences that will help me grow.
- I will be okay.
- I am strong.
- This too shall pass.
some nice pick me ups while I’m going through changes
