I’d like to start my blog by apologising, I have not posted in a while.

Everything in my life has just been so full on, I have not had a chance to sit down & relax.

Whether its work, gym, weekend plans – everything has been out of my routine, even going to bed late ie 2am / 3am (which I am not complaining, its a bit of adventure for me, hehe!)

What brings me to write this blog today is a few things that have happened during my absence on my website (which I shall not get into detail!).

I’d like to continue by saying that.. Life is so so precious… And, it can be taken from you within a blink of an eye.

We have all taken our lives for granted at one stage of our life, its time to be more aware of the surroundings around us, being more aware of everything ie the weather, driving your car, your family, your friends, public transport, the gym, travelling etc.

We need to ensure that we are constantly reminding those around us that we love them because we don’t know the last time we will ever see them.

As much as we are in control of our lives… We are really not, we are not in control of when we will die, we are not in control of the reasons of our death, we don’t know when we will take our last breath.

We all think we will live to an old age, get engaged, married, have kids, watch them grow, they’ll move on, get married & you’ll have grandkids etc.. We all want that fairytale… But it always doesn’t end up that way.

Being aware & alert can minimise the risk of bad things happening, for example, on the drive to work most mornings my body goes into auto pilot & I don’t remember how I get to work sometimes, or I don’t recall what way I drove to work – this is because our bodies are on auto pilot, we must break ourselves out of this habit & become more alert & aware of our surroundings because if we are on auto pilot, this means our reaction time is slower than usual & we cannot react to things that are happening around us. The busy morning roads are the scariest thing, all it takes is one little things (that may not be your fault) to happen & we are injured or even lose our life.

Anger, anger is anothing big thing! NEVER stay angry at people, it not only is a burden that you have to carry around on your shoulders but it also creates hurt & pin if something were to happen to either parties, there will be an unsolved problem which than causes guilt of not speaking to that person & why you hadn’t mended things with them.

ANYTHING… I mean ANYTHING can happen in life where your precious life can be taken so be grateful EVERYDAY, remind those around you that you love them, thank God for the precious life that you have rceieved & be grateful for what you have as some people wish for the life that you have.

Those that practice gratitude & notice plus reflect upon the things they’re thankful for experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kidness, and even have stronger immune systems

Below are 5 things that can change the way we think & also create a blissful life for us.

  1. Keep a gratitude journal
  2. Practice present moment awareness
  3. Think bigger than yourself
  4. Share the love with your family & friends
  5. Replace complaints with gratitude
